Youth at International Climate Conferences: Making Way for Youth Voices at COP28

This event will focus on youth participation in international conferences, such as COPs, SBs (Bonn Climate Change Conference) or G20/Y20. Our panel of youth speakers have all been involved in international climate policy and conferences. They come from a variety of countries and backgrounds, for example Egypt, Chile, Peru or the United Kingdom. We will focus on their personal experiences, behind-the-scenes insights as well as their highlights and challenges. We will show how other young people can get involved, in particular in the lead-up to COP28. There will be interactive elements including a quiz for participants as well as a Q&A session. The panel will be moderated by ClimaTalk’s COP28 Project Co-Leads.
