Music Declares Emergency US Presents a CLIMATE CONCERT at RACKET NYC, Featuring artist/activist La Doña, + Special Guests.

There will be climate leaders speaking on activating music fans and the general US population through the ‘power of music’ in the fight to transition from fossil fuels. La Doña is hailed for her activism and artistry and was recently featured in an article in Billboard Magazine in early August. And former President Barack Obama added La Doña’s single from last year, “Penas con Pan” to his 2023 summer playlist.

Place: RACKET NYC, 431 16th Street, New York, NY 10011 Date: September 20, 2023 Time: Doors open at 7:00pm, Show starts at 8:00pm Music Declares Emergency US’s mission is to inspire artists, music industry professionals and organizations to stand together and declare a climate and ecological emergency and call for an immediate governmental response to protect all life on Earth. We believe in the power of music to activate fans to accelerate the cultural change needed to create a sustainable future.

Through our environmental advocacy efforts and promotion of improved climate justice, we aim to build a movement among artists and music professionals through community support and effective public outreach through the music industry and its fan base. Music Declares Emergency US will propel the call for urgent action on climate through our NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET campaign, harnessing the influence and reach to artists and music fans to bring this conversation fully into the mainstream.
