Join our panel of experts to explore the vital roles of endangered marine species—Southern Resident Orcas, Leatherback sea turtles, and sharks—in maintaining ecosystem balance and emphasizing their connection to global Ocean health and climate change. This panel will feature perspectives from a scientist, policy analyst and a lawyer, examining innovative legal and policy approaches to their protection and restoration, including through the legal recognition of their inherent rights.

The discussion will underscore the urgency of addressing biodiversity loss and climate change as interconnected issues, while inspiring broader conservation efforts for keystone species worldwide. Join us during Climate Week NYC 2023 and become enlightened on a global movement to transform the legal system so that it represents all life on the planet, not only humans. The main panel is 1.5 hours, followed by an exclusive 1-hour mixer. Doors open at 4:00 pm, program begins at 4:15 pm. All donations of $100 or more will receive access to the mixer after the panel concludes.
