The world is changing rapidly, and the devastating effects of climate change are taking a toll on our minds, hearts, and lives. It’s a lot.
How do we actually stay present on our rapidly warming planet without going numb or getting swept under?
If you're a scientist, a conservationist, a journalist, or an activist, how do you prevent burnout and trauma when the work feels defeating or enraging, and when you see and carry realities others don’t?
If you're an educator, how do you teach your climate curriculum responsibly while supporting the emotional fallout for your students and yourself?
If you're an organizational, corporate, or civic leader, how do you build the kind of collective resilience that lets a community actually show up for each other when it counts?
These challenges are pervasive and deeply human, and that's why we're here to help.
This event is part of the Climate One event put on in collaboration with Grist.
Our table will be open throughout the entire event. Bring your questions, your frustrations, your spontaneous thoughts and we’ll chat about psychologically-informed strategies for building resilience, processing grief and anger, and staying rooted in engaged action, whatever your role in the climate movement.
*Let’s chat! This isn’t therapy, but we do offer plenty of education and empathy.
