From clean industry and electrification to forests and buildings, here are five additional events to have on your radar.
1. Build Clean Communities Now Roundtable: Industry Acceleration Summit
Monday 21 September, 8.15am-12.30pm
Part of the Industry Acceleration Summit, this high-level roundtable will explore how clean industry projects can create lasting value for the communities that host them. Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, infrastructure developers and community representatives, the discussion will examine how industrial transition can be designed to deliver local jobs, skills, infrastructure and economic opportunity while accelerating clean industrial growth.

2. From the Ground Up: Mobilising Subnational Partnerships with the GCF Task Force to Build New Forest Economies
Monday 21 September, 8.30am-10.30pm
Co‑organised by Climate Group with the UN General Assembly, and will be hosted by Latham & Watkins LLP. It is one of several GCF Task Force‑led activities designed to connect subnational leaders, partners, and innovators to advance forest conservation and sustainable development.

3. Global Launch of Blend Better Cement
Tuesday 22 September, 2.00pm-4.00pm
Climate Group and its partners will formally launch the Blend Better Cement campaign. The event brings together national governments, international institutions, and industry leaders to spotlight blended cements as one of the fastest available solutions to cut cement and concrete emissions this decade.
The session will examine the policy, regulatory, and market measures needed to scale lower-carbon cement production.

4. The Twin Engines of Transition: Efficiency and Electrification
Wednesday 23 September, 8.30am-10.00am
Features a session on the twin engines of the transition. Panel Session 1 focuses on energy efficiency across industry, examining proven technologies and operational models that are already delivering measurable results.
Panel Session 2 addresses the gap between proven solutions and wider finance deployment in partnership with the Energy Efficiency Movement and Siemens.

5. Retrofitting an icon: Lessons from the Empire State Building
Thursday 24 September, 10.45am-1.00pm
Climate Group and Smart Energy Coalition member Corgan engage in a discussion on the iconic Empire State Building and its role as a global model for sustainable design. Explore how innovative architecture, energy efficiency, and thoughtful retrofits have shaped one of the world's most recognized landmarks, followed by an exclusive guided tour of the building.
