Enteric methane emissions can be reduced through a range of technologies and practices, but many proven solutions remain underutilized because farmers often lack the market conditions and long-term incentives needed for widespread adoption. Clean Air Task Force and Spark Climate Solutions will convene an invitation-only discussion exploring how market-based mechanisms and policy approaches can help close this gap. Drawing on examples from livestock, agriculture, and other sectors, experts will examine what has worked, under what conditions, and how these lessons can help align incentives among farmers, innovators, financial institutions, governments, and the private sector to accelerate methane mitigation at scale.
