The first Roundtable will take place in New York City during Climate Week NYC. Yes, we know Climate Week calendars are full. That is also part of the reason for convening in New York. The human side of climate is not separate from the climate agenda. Issues such as water scarcity and extreme heat affect both production facilities and worker safety, and credible disclosure is increasingly part of how companies understand risk, accountability, and practical action in global supply chains. 📍 Location: Midtown Manhattan location to be announced soon 📅 Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026 ⏰ Time: 2:00–5:00 PM 🥂 Followed by: A special Climate Week happy hour The Social Audit Disclosure Roundtable is a small-format forum for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders working to improve how social audit methodologies, results, and disclosures are understood, communicated, and used. The goal is to create a practical space to examine what audit disclosures can and cannot credibly communicate, and how users can make better decisions based on that understanding. The purpose of the Roundtable is not to question the value of social audits. It is to improve how audit methodologies and results are explained, interpreted, and translated into responsible action. The Roundtable welcomes a broad range of perspectives, including those who support the continued improvement of social audits, those who are skeptical of their current value, and those who believe alternative models may be needed. Space is limited to support a focused and practical discussion. Additional roundtables are in the works for Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Bentonville, Minneapolis and Toronto. Dates will be announced soon!
