Since 2016, North Carolina's nonprofit coastal insurer-of-last-resort has profited from almost $200 million in coastal home resilience projects. In 2025, it used this foundation to engineer a $600 million ILS Resilience CAT Bond, which Artemis (the industry's Bermuda based trade journal) called "the world's first." In 2026, ILS Insider awarded the accomplishment its worldwide "Innovation of the Year" award. This Climate Week event gives you the inside story.
