The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF), the state’s not-for-profit workers’ compensation insurer, is hosting its second annual Climate Week NYC event, The Economic and Health Imperatives for Climate Action. Three expert panels will explore the intersection of climate change and health, insurance, and economics, and make the case that climate action is both critical for health and safety and economically feasible and necessary. Dr. Ann Kurth, President & CEO of the New York Academy of Medicine, will deliver the keynote address.
