The Art of Change: Realigning our Relationship with Nature

Join the Artivist Network's Trickster Cohort for a profound and moving opening ceremony for New York Climate Week! ​Lets ground ourselves in community and place to better equip ourselves to make change. Weaving together performance, sound installation, painting, and poetry, this intervention is a climate commemoration, an absurdist funeral, a space to grieve what has been lost, and to tend to the dying systems of oppression and usher in an era of rebirth of liberatory futures. Children welcomed! ​🫔Lunch will be provided as well as a 📚hevruta study session for those of us fasting for Yom Kippur, come for all or part of the event - and enjoy the chance to see New York City from the water 🌊.
