“Teaching Climate Change" Connecting Our Classrooms for Global Impact

Listening to Connect and to Learn. September 26th, 2026 STEMteachersNYC, PRI, NYU Steinhardt Dept of Teaching & Learning, and Urban Systems Lab invite current and aspiring climate change educators to join a storytelling, co-solutioning event! Climate teaching holds many opportunities but also many challenges for our communities. September 26th join those passionate and committed to innovating on climate change education for a morning of idea and solution sharing! Interconnection and shared understanding are at the core of resilience. Share your grapplings, offer support, and open new connections for yourself and your students. Leave with new colleagues and a wider support system for taking your climate change education goals forward into the new year. From your stories we will invite 7-8 of those who RSVP 'yes' to sharing your teaching-as-stewardship story. YOUR amazing work will provide sparks of inspiration and models to learn from. You are also welcome to share the story of a colleague who has inspried you. With the goals and challenges you share here, we will co-solution together with the wisdom in the room.
