Sip & Spark is our flagship education and inspiration series: fast-paced, thought-provoking, and always followed by great conversation. This Climate Week NYC edition puts the circular economy front and center. We're bringing together community members, sustainability professionals, corporate leaders, and everyday New Yorkers to explore real-world solutions that reduce waste and improve systems at scale. Expect 6-8 lightning talks from NYC changemakers. Each speaker gets ~5 minutes to share one big idea, one bold solution, or one story that will change how you think about the stuff in your life. Then we open it up! A moderated conversation, partner spotlights, and networking over food and drinks to close out the night. 🌀 Why Circular Economy? The circular economy isn't just a buzzword, it's a framework for reimagining how products are designed, made, used, and recovered. From fashion and food to packaging and electronics, circular thinking is one of the most powerful tools we have for reducing waste at scale. This is your chance to hear from the people making it happen in New York City and beyond. 🎤 Speakers (and more to be announced!) - Brooklyn Creative Reuse: on creative reuse and the circular economy in action - Brooklyn Solar Works: on renewable energy and building circular systems in NYC - More speakers coming soon, check back for updates! 🤝 Who's This For? - Sustainability professionals and advocates - Corporate sustainability teams - Creatives, founders, and entrepreneurs - Community members who want to learn and connect - Anyone curious about what a circular economy actually looks like in practice
