Most climate and conservation funding flows to short-term projects. Very little flows to the often invisible connective tissue that makes conservation durable over the long-term — community governance, organizational leadership, monitoring systems, legal defense, guardian networks, accountability mechanisms, and independent journalism. Through this session, we will shine a spotlight on some of these diverse approaches and make visible the connections between them.
