From rising seas and intensifying storms to aging infrastructure and widening inequities, water sits at the center of the climate challenge and the climate solution. Leaders from Arup, the US Water Alliance and the Waterfront Alliance will discuss working at different scales of the water sector to explore how vision, policy, and community action can align to build a more resilient water future. The conversation is anchored by their complementary perspectives: • Global: looking at drivers reshaping the water cycle and the systemic, nature-aligned thinking cities need to adapt • National: how utilities and communities can advance equitable, climate-resilient water solutions at scale • Local: exploring how local communities, designers, and policymakers are turning shorelines into climate-adaptive public assets Together, the panel will examine how integrated water management, green and blue infrastructure, and coastal resilience can move from principles through policy to implementation, and the partnerships required to make that transition successful.
