This half-day event will bring together scientists, policymakers, financial institutions, private sector actors and community representatives to explore how science, innovation and finance can accelerate the transition towards low-emission, climate-resilient livestock and grazing systems. Through high-level dialogue, evidence showcases and interactive discussions, the event will highlight practical solutions—from improved forages and feeding systems to sustainable grazing and methane mitigation—and examine how these can be translated into scalable, investment-ready opportunities. Particular attention will be given to unlocking blended and private finance, strengthening rural livelihoods, and ensuring women farmers and pastoralists are at the centre of the transition. The event will connect climate, biodiversity, nutrition and land restoration agendas to advance more coherent and finance-ready pathways for sustainable livestock systems.
