Personal RE-SET
Do you ever feel the need to slow the frenzy stirred by the uncertainty of these times, and find yourself in equilibrium with the solution? This interactive workshop is designed to engage quietude and introspection that build our grounding for a mental fitness to show up ready for possibilities.
It's vitalizing to hear Rebecca Solnit's words, that “uncertainty is possibility” and not to forget that "the impossible happens regularly”*.
You are invited to experience RE-Set, a personal pause to check in with nature, yourself and a small group of others and experience grounding through art and poetic dialog that serves our climate transition. You will capture the thoughts that arise through writing responses in free-style, playful or poetic, however they come. First we invite quietude and feel the presence of nature’s chorus from deep in the Rain Forest. Then we flip through the body of cyanotype art with nature similes and choose the questions that invite your response. “Like an apple blossom to a bee pollinator…. What do you hunger for?” You choose which pieces call to you, and which of your written responses you want to share in a closing discussion.
Together we experience moments that connect us more deeply to who we really are in our world, inclusive of nature, that motivate us to act on what we're here to do. The recipe for grounding and calming eco-emotions, creates resilience that sustains climate action.
