Personal RE-SET: a personal pause with cyanotype art, nature prompts, and your reflections
Do you ever feel the need to slow the frenzy and despair of these times, and find yourself in equilibrium with the solution? This interactive workshop is designed to engage quietude and introspection to build our grounding for a mental fitness to show up ready for possibilities.
It's revitalizing to hear Rebecca Solnit's words, that “uncertainty is possibility” and not to forget that "the impossible happens regularly”.
You are warmly invited to join us at Re-Set, a quiet pause to check in with nature, yourself and a small group of others and experience grounding that serves our climate transition.
Let’s capture your thoughts, with mini writing responses in free-style, playful or poetic, however they come. First we flip through the body of cyanotype art with nature similes and choose the questions that invite your response. You choose which pieces call to you, and which written ones you want to share in a closing discussion.
Together we experience moments that connect us more deeply to who we really are in our world, inclusive of nature, and that motivates us to act on what we're here to do. It's good for grounding, calming eco-emotions, and building the resilience that sustains climate action.
Personal Re-Set is an iteration of an ongoing interactive international project by the label “Ecotone Poetry” by writer and artist Isobel Davis.
