Indonesia Solar Investment Forum 2026 Indonesia's 100 GW Solar Program represents an estimated $71.3 billion in investment through 2028, with 17 GW already moving toward construction this year and 33 GW of battery storage planned alongside it. The opportunity spans generation, transmission, storage, manufacturing, and supply chains. Converting that opportunity into financed projects is a shared design question. Procurement and PPA structures, risk allocation, grid integration, storage, and the interplay between commercial capital, concessional finance, guarantees, and insurance all shape how quickly capital moves. This forum brings Indonesian stakeholders and global investors into direct exchange while those structures are still taking shape, so that international perspectives inform the pipeline as it develops. Hosted at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in New York, the afternoon brings together participants for two moderated panels, audience Q&A, lunch, and a curated networking session. Session 1: Accelerating Solar Energy in Emerging Economies, organized jointly with RE100. India built one of the world's fastest growing solar markets through ambitious policy and competitive auctions. Pakistan scaled rapidly through distributed generation and market demand. This panel draws practical lessons from both as Indonesia advances its own program, alongside a corporate buyer perspective from RE100 on what companies look for when procuring renewable electricity. Moderated by Riyadi Suparno of Tenggara Strategics. Session 2: From Ambition to Investable Scale. Project readiness, bankability, blended finance, and global partnerships. This panel examines investment criteria, guarantees and credit enhancement, foreign exchange and offtaker risk, and the partnership models that crowd in private capital.
