High-Level Leadership Roundtable for Tropical Agriculture

The roundtable will bring together leaders from business, science, finance, philanthropy, and civil society to discuss how tropical agriculture can contribute to a more resilient and regenerative development pathway in a climate-changed world. The conversation will begin with insights from the Tropical Regenerative Agriculture Index, a science-based initiative developed by Brazilian researchers and institutional partners, and expand into a forward-looking discussion on the conditions required to translate knowledge into large-scale impact. Participants will explore how leadership, investment, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making can help accelerate the transition toward more resilient agricultural systems and sustainable development outcomes across tropical regions. As pressures on food systems, natural resources, and rural livelihoods continue to intensify, the dialogue will consider the unique opportunity for tropical countries to help shape global responses to interconnected climate, nature, and development challenges.
