Discovery Day @ Hunters Point Library and Environmental Education Center - QPL

Discovery Day celebrates our Environmental Education Center by hosting a festival on the lawns of Hunters Point Library where we include environmental-based activities. We explore the natural wonders of the neighborhood with naturalists, science pop-ups, and other engaging activities for folks of all ages. This program is funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, through the establishment of the Newtown Creek Environmental Benefit Fund, administered by the City Parks Foundation.
