Explore the wooded paths of the park, a natural oasis for birds, pollinators, trees and neighborhood residents alike. Find hidden sound installations by experimental composer Max Kutner, composed in relationship to the natural soundscape. Offer your hands to help restore a native wetland by fortifying the beach with NYRP and tune into audio stories through Sherman Creek Park through the Holes in the Wall Collective scavenger hunt. With refreshments made from botanicals harvested by the Urban Agriculture team at the Riley-Levin Garden. Max will be activating the sound installations live on 9/20 and available for those that would like to learn more from him directly about his creative process and composed work. Made in partnership with Holes in the Wall Collective and New York Restoration Project. This is part of Imagined Futures: This Must be the Place scavenger hunt, connecting you deeper to 7 waterways across the city.
