This NY Climate Week edition of the quarterly Climate Tech Demo Series features climate tech startups solving tough urban problems with the most advanced technology available. Six startups will demo their technology live and share how they build, from high performance computing to material science, hardware, and other innovations. This is not a pitch night. It is a chance to go deeper into the tech behind climate solutions that can make a tangible difference to the livability of our cities and our planet. Demos start at 9:30am: Every Electric: installs batteries at no cost to multi-family residents, generating demand response revenue and reducing bill costs. Eztia: material science for extreme heat that lowers skin temperature by up to 10C with no batteries or refrigeration needed. Public Grid: a platform to lower tenant energy bills and supply energy through energy brokering, community solar, and VPP programs. Tova: water intelligence for water infrastructure groups and corporates making CapEx and OpEx decisions. Trainsit: the "Google Flights of rail freight" for CPGs and rail brokers, reducing shipment costs by 30%+ and emissions by 75%+.
