An evening of inspiring talks, delicious food and drinks to celebrate the launch of this new book from Changing Markets and Worldshapers Join the Changing Markets Foundation and Worldshapers for an evening celebrating the launch of The New Merchants of Doubt: The Corporate Playbook of Big Meat and Dairy to Delay, Distract and Derail Climate Action. The book expands on our flagship 2024 investigation—bringing together the report's findings with new analysis, case studies and insights into the corporate playbook used to shape public narratives, influence policy and slow progress on climate action. The evening will gather campaigners, policymakers, journalists, researchers and partners to celebrate the publication, hear from author and Changing Markets CEO Nusa Urbancic, publisher Mikko Järvenpää, Founder and Executive Director of Worldshapers. We will hear from globally renowned experts to share insights from their work challenging agribusiness power, including UN Special Rapporteur on Climate Change and Human Rights, Elisa Morgera, and Managing Attorney at Earthjustice, Peter Lehner, and more to be announced. This will be followed by a panel discussion Chaired by Geoff Dembicki, Global Managing Editor of DeSmog and author of Petroleum Papers.
