Beyond Carbon Payments: Understanding the Co-benefits of Jurisdictional REDD+ Benefit-sharing

The workshop will examine the financial and non-financial benefits generated through jurisdictional REDD+ benefit-sharing processes, with particular attention to Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities. The discussion will seek to understand not only whether resources are distributed equitably, but also whether the processes used to design and implement benefit sharing are contributing to broader institutional, social, governance, capacity, and environmental outcomes.
