AEG NYC Health, Energy & Equity Action Challenge @ Climate Week NYC

This interactive workshop brings together energy stakeholders, civic leaders, and sustainability innovators to address pressing climate and equity challenges in New York City, with a localized focus starting in the Bronx. Grounded in the city's long-term energy, health, and prosperity goals, the session is designed to move from high-level strategy to immediate, collective action during Climate Week. Rather than a traditional seminar, this event focuses on collaborative problem-solving. Participants will work together to define a singular point of focus for the region by addressing a core challenge: "To achieve NYC’s Health, Energy, and Prosperity goals, starting with the Bronx, a critical obstacle to collectively address in 12 months is _________." Through facilitated table breakouts, attendees will co-design actionable 12-month solutions and immediate 90-day sprint plans. The event concludes with the formation of volunteer Task Forces to ensure measurable accountability and project delivery long after Climate Week.
