We are living through a planetary crossing — and our bodies and hearts know it. Grief & Longing. Ancestral rememberings. Collective heartbreak. Courting mystery. Deep-time listening. Cultural repair & renewal. Mythopoetic attunement. Embodiment & song. And the many other things that make us human. Let’s take a necessary moment to drop in with reverence and wonder and some appropriate praise for the place that has been holding us and our dreams Join Asheville-based astrologer and storyteller Frank Salzano (Medicine of the Starry Heavens), and Brooklyn-based musician Lila ——- for an immersive afternoon weaving together song circles, poetic myth-telling, and deep-time story to help us feel our way through the climate moment. Rather than another problem-solving conversation, this is a ritual of attuning — grounded in the living ecologies of the New York City watershed, its marshlands, rising tides, and ancient memory. We'll move through harmonizing and voice to drop into the body together, then journey through the cosmos and climate mythos that connects us to this place and bridges our ancestral starlore to the current meta-crisis. From the Starry River to the Hudson, we will conclude with some shared reflections and integration, offering our musings, blessings and care back to this home we hold so dear. The afternoon will unfold in three movements: Opening — song circle & harmonizing to arrive together Journey — poetic storytelling through climate, cosmos & the NYC watershed Integration — group shares, Q&A & collective reflection and care 📍 Dream Room | 3:00–6:00 PM ET In the Dream Room at Caravan of Dreams.
