26th Annual Bicycle Film Festival

In 2001, Brendt Barbur founded the Bicycle Film Festival after being hit by a bus while cycling in New York City. What began as a personal journey became a global celebration of cycling through film, art, and music. Now in its 25th year, BFF has reached over one million people in more than 100 cities from Paris, Tokyo, and Mexico City to Cape Town, Istanbul, and beyond. Hosted in iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House and the Barbican in London, BFF brings cycling culture to life through powerful stories and curated experiences, featuring leading voices in film, ecology, urbanism, music, design, and contemporary art. We’re enthusiastic to share this experience with audiences again in our home New York.
