A New York City Climate Week event hosted at Québec’s NYC office, in collaboration with CALSTART and the Drive to Zero program, to highlight global progress on the development of Green Road Corridors. Building on ongoing work by CALSTART and its partners, the event will convene leaders from government, industry, and NGOs for a grounded, solutions-oriented dialogue focused on implementation and scaling. The event will feature a set of corridors including I-95 (East Coast US), Highway 20 (Quebec) and the e-Dutra corridor in Brazil as leading examples demonstrating how coordinated planning, stakeholder alignment, and investment in zero-emission freight infrastructure can accelerate market transformation. Speakers will discuss how green corridors are delivering emission reductions and economic growth while illuminating practical pathways for global replication. Positioned at a critical cross-border trade nexus, Québec and the U.S. Northeast have a unique opportunity to demonstrate how zero-emission freight can move seamlessly across jurisdictions. Achieving this will require greater alignment on charging infrastructure, payment systems, and technical standards. The event will draw on global case studies and expert insights to spur coordinated action.
