New York’s building sector is moving from early all-electric case studies toward broader market adoption, driven in part by Local Law 154’s building electrification requirements and Local Law 97’s carbon limits. Hosted at 505 State Street in Brooklyn, one of NYC’s first all-electric market-rate high-rises, this Climate Week event will bring together leaders from development, policy, finance, and design to discuss what it takes to make all-electric buildings scalable, financeable, and repeatable in New York. The conversation will focus on practical lessons from real projects, including development feasibility, financing, policy drivers, design decisions, implementation challenges, affordable housing, and the path from pilot projects to normal market practice.
