What if some of the most important drivers of business performance have been missing from the economic models that guide decision-making today?
Climate Week NYC marks the next milestone in CDP's Earth-Positive Economics journey. Following an inaugural discussion during London Climate Action Week, we are bringing together a select group of economic, financial and business leaders to examine how environmental data can be translated into measurable economic outcomes.
Through new analysis, industry examples and rigorous discussion, we will explore how factors such as water, climate resilience and resource security influence profitability, productivity, investment performance and growth. The objective is not simply to identify correlations, but to test where evidence increasingly points towards causation.
Together, we will test the data, challenge assumptions and explore where the strongest evidence for causation is beginning to emerge. From water pricing and supply chain resilience to capital allocation, insurance risk and corporate performance, the discussion will focus on how organisations can use environmental data to build stronger, more resilient and more profitable businesses.
Join us to help shape a new understanding of economic value creation – and to ensure the next generation of business growth is built on the foundations that make it possible.
