As global leaders convene for Climate Week NYC 2026 to accelerate climate action, the renewable energy and climate tech sectors face a dual challenge: a critical "Green Work Labor Shortage" and tightening ESG & DEI(Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) disclosure benchmarks from institutional investors. On the other hand, the renewable energy and climate tech sectors have still been heavily male-dominated. However, navigating the net-zero transition requires immediate, systemic talent diversification. We cannot achieve a "Just Transition" if half the world’s population is left out of the green workforce. Co-hosted by the Taiwan Green Energy for Charity Association (TGECA) and Out for Sustainability (Out4S), this 1.5-hour virtual event redefines DEI not just as a corporate metric, but as a strategic solution to unlock human potential and de-risk ESG investments.
