A sustainable building transition can only succeed if it works for everyone–and everyone has a role in shaping it.
Women and other under-represented groups bring diverse expertise, experiences and perspectives that can strengthen how we design, finance and build our cities and communities. Yet persistent barriers continue to limit their participation and leadership across the buildings and energy sectors.
Join GBPN for a panel discussion on how justice, equity, diversity and inclusion can help drive a more effective and just transition to sustainable, low-carbon buildings. Drawing on evidence and experiences from Indonesia, Africa and beyond, the session will explore the barriers women face, the opportunities for greater participation, and the value of more inclusive approaches to building sector transformation.
The session will also introduce GBPN’s JEDI Toolkit and She Builds Sustainably initiative, and bring together perspectives from across policy, industry, urban development, energy and sustainability to identify opportunities for collaboration and action.
Join the conversation and help shape a building sector where diverse voices are part of the decisions that shape our shared future.
