We’ll mark the end of Climate Week with what matters everyday: a celebration of the collective intelligence and mycelial networks of what is worth transforming and what is worth fighting for. Bringing together water activists, urban ecologists, community stewards, neighbors, artists and friends, featuring an artistic activations by artist Shahira Hammad and joined by Mycelium Choral Project to sing a giant group rendition of Big Yellow Taxi to the last of the fading sun. Special guest volumetric mycelium timelapse projections and DJ set from Winslow Porter. We're working with Everything Good Studio to create a virtual banquet along the Newtown Creek Nature Walk along with audio snippets from Gus Perry of NCA, Newtown Creek whisperer Lisa Bloodgood and Gil Lopez of Smiling Hogshead Ranch as part of our Newtown Creek scavenger hunt. Jack and Rachel of Everything Good Studio will also be bringing their XR experience up to the roof for the celebration.
