CUNY Public Interest Technology Lab will be presenting a range of projects from across the CUNY community that will be looking at air quality, water justice, sustainability in urban life, and more! On Wednesday, September 23rd, we are excited to host the C3 Climate Week CUNY Research Expo. We will be seeing work from across the CUNY community—including graduate and master’s students, faculty, research teams and labs, centers and institutes, programs, and initiatives. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, September 24th through 26th, we will be showcasing the shortlist winners of the annual Macaulay Honors College Datathon: Reimagining NYC, hosted in collaboration with Marcy Lab School! This two-phase competition challenges students across CUNY to use data science, data integrity, and spatial storytelling to analyze the nuanced impacts of NYC's congestion pricing on local traffic migration and air quality, and to design targeted green infrastructure interventions. The students will be joined by special guests from the civic planning team at OpenPlans.org on Thursday Sept 24!
