The 2026 Climate and Health Commons will serve as a central platform for climate and health programming and networking during Climate Week NYC. Jointly hosted by the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) and the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM), this partner-driven convening will elevate health-centered climate action and engage a broad coalition of organizations, sectors, and participants. The Climate and Health Commons is designed to increase visibility, strengthen coordination, and support momentum across the climate and health field.
The Climate and Health Commons will kick off with an opening keynote and plenary, followed by concurrent sessions hosted by partner organizations. These sessions will be designed for small, participatory conversations of 20-30 attendees each. The day will conclude with a closing plenary and reception.
