As part of Assembly Swissnex presents a spatial installation, design objects and a video installation by students in collaboration with Swiss institutions. The exhibition component of Assembly is imbedded into the event space and showcased works by Geneva University of Art and Design – HEAD, Zurich University of the Arts – ZHdK and Institut auf dem Rosenberg. Spatial Installation Swissnex, in collaboration with HEAD MAIA – Master of Arts in Interior Architecture, will transform the venue into an immersive environment centered around scaffolding as a striking focal point. This dynamic space blurs the boundaries between exhibition and dialogue, inviting audiences to engage with visual art, architecture, and thought-provoking discussions. It's a hybrid, interactive setting where creativity, innovation, and exchange converge. Punch Prize The Punch Prize, a collaboration between Swissnex and the REFRESH festival of the Department of Design of ZHdK, recognizes outstanding climate-focused thesis projects by ZHdK design students. The exhibit features four works, No Longer by Yasmina Kupferschmid, RE:PACK by Brendan Strickler, Tooling to Regenerate by Caja Peters, and Water Level by Tim Frei. Youth Manifesto The Rosenberg Youth Manifesto is a student-led initiative by Institut auf dem Rosenberg, developed with Climate Words, bringing next-generation perspectives on people and planet into dialogue with global leaders, scientists, educators, and innovators. During Climate Week NYC, the immersive installation and interactive conversations invite visitors to contribute questions, reflections, and commitments. These contributions will travel to The Rosenberg House Davos 2027, where students will bring them into dialogue with decision-makers and help shape the next chapter of the Manifesto. From conversation to action, the initiative asks: What will your generation add? This event is part of Assembly, the main Swiss stage at Climate Week NYC 2026. As world leaders gather in Midtown Manhattan, Swissnex assembles Swiss and global voices – from private sector innovators and researchers to artists and policymakers – in the East Village for three days of communal climate thinking and action. Assembly speaks to deliberation and democracy – the idea that communities must collectively define their futures – as well as the ongoing, creative, improvisational process of constructing those futures from the pieces of our present. At Swissnex in Boston and New York, we connect Switzerland, North America, and the world in science, education, innovation, and the arts.
