An intimate evening of sustainability, ancestral craft, cacao, community + sound healing WHAT IF MENDING COULD BE MORE THAN REPAIR? Join Isabel Varela, founder of Repurpose Your Life, and Clementina “Sustainable Latina” Martinez-Masarweh for an intimate four-hour retreat exploring our relationship with what we carry, what we discard, what we repair—and what we choose to transform. For one evening, two women, healers, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, and changemakers from the East and West Coasts come together in New York City to create an experience that brings their distinct bodies of work into one room. Through meditation, breathwork, conversation, ancestral mending, cacao, community, and sound healing, we'll slow down and explore sustainability not simply as something we practice environmentally, but as something that can inform the way we live. We'll move from conversation into our hands, learning the art of visible mending through Sashiko-inspired stitching while gathering together in circle. And we'll close by moving from making into stillness through an immersive sound healing experience. This is an evening of repair, reconnection, creativity, and intentional transformation. A RARE + INTIMATE NYC EXPERIENCE This isn't a large workshop or conference. You'll experience this work inside the Repurpose Your Life© Micro Healing Center, a private and intentionally intimate space on Manhattan's Upper West Side near Central Park. For this special collaboration, Isabel and Clementina are bringing together two bodies of work—human transformation, healing, sustainability, ancestral wisdom, creativity, circularity, and conscious living—for a small group of guests. The intimate setting means you'll have the opportunity to learn, create, reflect, ask questions, connect, and experience the evening alongside both facilitators rather than simply watching from an audience. And you'll leave with more than the experience itself. EVERY GUEST RECEIVES A CURATED ECO-CONSCIOUS SWAG BAG VALUED AT $250–$400 Each attendee will receive a specially curated swag bag featuring products and offerings selected to reflect the values of the evening: sustainability, wellbeing, creativity, conscious living, and intentional consumption. With an anticipated retail value of up to $400, the swag bag alone is designed to offer extraordinary value beyond the four-hour retreat experience.*Very limited attendance. Advance registration required.*Final swag bag contents and retail value are subject to final sponsor/product confirmations. YOUR RETREAT INCLUDES ARRIVE · MEDITATION + BREATHWORK We'll begin by slowing down and arriving in the body through guided meditation and breathwork, creating space to transition out of the day and into the experience. SUSTAINABILITY · WELLBEING · ENVIRONMENT Together, Isabel and Clementina will open a conversation around the interconnectedness of personal wellbeing, sustainability, consumption, creativity, and our relationship with the environment. We'll explore the choices we make every day and how seemingly small acts—including repairing something instead of immediately discarding it—can become part of creating meaningful change. ANCESTRAL MENDING · SASHIKO Led by Clementina “Sustainable Latina” Martinez-Masarweh, you'll explore Sashiko-inspired visible mending through hand stitching and denim patches.Clementina will introduce the practice and guide you through creating your own visible repair. No previous sewing experience is necessary. Mending kits and materials will be provided. CACAO + MENDING CIRCLE We'll gather in circle with cacao while continuing to mend together.Rather than rushing toward a finished product, this portion of the evening is an invitation to slow down, work with your hands, connect, share, and honor the practice of repair. SOUND HEALING Isabel will close the evening with an immersive sound bath, creating space for rest, reflection, and integration.
