Climate Week NYC 2021: Getting it done 

Climate Week NYC, taking place September 20-26, returns for 2021 with a focus on fulfilling and increasing commitments made by businesses, governments, and organizations. It is the time and place where the world gathers to showcase leading climate action and discuss how to do more, fast. 
 
Hosted annually by international non-profit the Climate Group in conjunction with the United Nations, and in partnership with the COP26 and the City of New York, Climate Week NYC is a global opportunity to come together to accelerate climate action and assess progress ahead of COP26.

The Climate Week NYC Opening Ceremony brings together business and government leaders to launch the week and showcase amazing climate action. We will broadcast the Climate Week NYC Opening Ceremony through both an interactive online digital platform for sector leaders and on an open on-demand platform for public viewers. The Hub Live at Climate Week NYC 

For the fourth year, the Climate Group will host The Hub Live – a series of forums, discussions, and workshops that bring together the expertise and influence of public and private sectors. The Hub Live at Climate Week NYC is hosted through an interactive online digital platform where attendees can meet, collaborate, and inspire each other to build a better future. The Hub Live events will also be broadcast on an open on-demand platform so the global community can join the action and you can view content from The Hub Live at Climate Week NYC 2020 here

Last year Climate Week NYC held over 500 events. Our 2021 program will be launched this Spring.

Climate Week NYC Official Events Program

As the core of Climate Week NYC, the events program is the primary way for communities and individuals to participate and engage in New York, and around the world. Organizations and individuals are invited to host an event and become an official part of the program, which this year will be broken into ten themes which can be viewed here
 
The Climate Week NYC official events program offers opportunities to join digital events from around the world and physical events, where possible, in New York City. The event submission process is now live and our full program for those wishing to attend and take part will be launched this Summer.

The Nest Summit

The Nest Summit is the official event partner of Climate Week NYC and is energizing climate action in the U.S. with a third annual hybrid event at the Javits Center, a unifying destination during Climate Week NYC.
