Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan underpins the company’s strategy. In 2018, the company’s Sustainable Living Brands grew 69% faster than the rest of the business, compared to 46% in 2017.

Unilever has set a science-based target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the 1.5 degree ambition set out in the Paris Agreement. This includes a goal to source all grid electricity from renewable sources by 2020, in advance of reaching 100% of energy across all operations from renewable sources by 2030.

Through its support for Climate Week NYC 2019, Unilever is working to accelerate the rapid transition across the economy and our society that will be needed to prevent the most dangerous consequences of climate change.
