MOVEIUS Contemporary Ballet (MOVEIUS), creating a path for ballet to speak to political and societal issues, will perform a trio of climate-inspired ballet works to The Ailey Citigroup Theater, September 23-25, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. The nationally-acclaimed GLACIER: A Climate Change Ballet imagines dancers as melting polar ice caps and brings the arctic environment alive to audience members.

On 24th September in New York, SUNx and Malta Ministry of Tourism, will be hosting the first Annual STRONG Event. It will is a dinner to honor our friend the late Maurice Strong, Sustainable Development pioneer and the inspiration behind SUNx, to underscore the vision of “Climate Friendly Travel” as a positive change agent in the New Climate Economy.

Climate Week NYC Greenway Ride

Join Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for a special Climate Week NYC ride on the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway! We’ll start at the corner of Old Fulton Street and Water Street in DUMBO, travel through Brooklyn Bridge Park and Red Hook, and end at Valentino Park & Pier. Along the way, we’ll explore the Greenway’s implementation and its potential for reducing New York City’s greenhouse gas emissions and helping the City adapt and build resiliency to increasingly volatile storms and flooding.
