GSK is a global biopharma company with the ambition and purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. The climate and nature crises are health crises too. Air pollution worsens respiratory disease, warmer and wetter weather puts more people at risk of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases, and the destruction of forests increases the risk of pandemics. That's why in November 2020, we set ambitious industry-leading goals: to have a net zero impact on climate change and a net positive impact on nature by 2030, across our entire value chain. We are on track to achieve those goals. We're also developing and manufacturing new medicines and vaccines for the diseases most affected by climate change and helping to strength health systems, especially in countries that are most vulnerable to climate-related shocks. We're supporting Climate Week NYC 2022 to help ensure that the solutions for climate change and nature loss are also drivers of human health.
