Forest Progress from the Ground Up: Perspectives from Indigenous Peoples, civil society, and governments

During the first section of the event, the Forest Declaration Assessment will present a preview of its annual assessment of global progress toward 2030 forest targets.

During the second section, speakers will have an opportunity to share their progress toward forest commitments, describe lessons learned, and urge others to accelerate action to end deforestation.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage speakers and learn more about the actions some key stakeholders and rights-holders are doing to preserve forests and address climate and environmental priorities during the Q&A section. This event will be hybrid. Translation services will be provided to online participants.
