Cities are responsible for 60% of polluting emissions on the planet and already today the majority of the world population lives in urban contexts. The close correlation between climate change and urban evolutionary models is therefore well known. These critical issues must be considered in the context of the design and management of spaces, infrastructures and services, in a logic of social innovation and sustainability. EuroMilano is a real estate promotion and development company, active in Milan for 35 years, during which it has been involved in large urban sustainable regeneration projects. Every year we promote one or more training events dedicated to architects, always with sustainability in the urban environment as its main theme. In this event we will present the strategies and visions that international cities, mainly Milan, are studying to put a stop to climate change. In the second panel, moreover, we will talk about practical solutions implemented both at a private and public level to combat the phenomenon of the climate crisis.
