An expert discussion focused on fresh thinking and policy breakthroughs to advance society’s response to climate change.
The conversation will feature Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication; Sue Biniaz, the longtime lead climate lawyer for the U.S. State Department’s Legal Adviser’s Office; Ken Gillingham, an associate professor of economics at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies; Gary Brudvig, a professor of chemistry at Yale; and Monica Medina, the publisher of Our Daily Planet — and be moderated by Dan Esty, professor at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and Yale Law School.
This event will also serve as a preview for "A Better Planet: Forty Big Ideas for a Sustainable Future," a new book by the Yale Environmental Dialogue featuring dozens of global experts on a range of issues that will be published by Yale University Press in October.
