Led by the Waterfront Alliance, a New York City-based nonprofit organization, WEDG® (Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines) is an award-winning credit system and set of guidelines for excellence in resilient, accessible, and ecologically-sound urban waterfront design and decision-making: think LEED® for the waterfront. It is also an integral part of a broader strategy led by the Waterfront Alliance to increase coastal resilience in New York City and beyond. Developed by a cross-cutting field of experts convened by the Waterfront Alliance, WEDG provides guidance amid a complex regulatory environment and the threats of climate change and coastal storms.
WEDG Professionals are prepared to respond to these challenges and provide leadership as to how we shape our coasts for generations to come.
Join us as we offer the newest version of the WEDG Professionals course to audiences across the country. The course will be taught over two days, and will introduce the new, nationally-applicable version of the WEDG standard in modules presented by the Waterfront Alliance in partnership with expert speakers.
