Warning Global Warming – A Poster Project by Per Arnoldi with JCDecaux

Appearing on JCDecaux bus shelter sites in New York, displayed in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, a new poster by Per Arnoldi is displayed highlighting the climate crisis. Using a play on words, as well as image, the dramatic, minimal and articulate language of the poster sends out a GLOBAL WARNING in context of the threat of GLOBAL WARMING.

A static version will introduce the message first and from September 16, the day before the opening of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly, a 15-second long animated version will play 24-hours a day on select JCDecaux digital bus shelters in the proximity of the United Nations headquarters. Such locations will include sites on 42nd Street going east from Lexington Avenue and on 34th Street going east from Park Avenue as well as select locations on Madison Avenue, Third Avenue, Second Avenue and First Avenue from 29th Street north to 50th Street, and two locations along Sixth Avenue in the Herald Square and Time Square areas.

The exhibition is supported by the JCDecaux Group and New Carlsberg Foundation
