The Rainforest Summit

The 2019 Rainforest Summit is an event meant to inspire impactful conversations, held within a hub of connectors, where honest information can be shared and significant funds can be raised then passed directly to organizations currently on the frontlines of the Amazon crisis and the other forests currently burning around the world.

Our mission is to create a global consensus around the current climate crisis, as well as a shared plan of action for bringing awareness to saving the planet’s most essential rainforests. By bringing together scientists, environmental representatives, indigenous voices, plus leaders of the press, our goal is to unify those on the frontlines by helping them chart a path forward for the land, people, and natural species of our disappearing ecosystems around the world. We can accomplish more for the natural world when we bring together people and organizations across borders, across sectors and across political aisles. This is most effectively done through the synergy of art, music, cultural expression, and by uniting forces as guardians of our planet, OUR ONLY EARTH.

Turning Our Mission into Action We are a new grassroots event designed to disrupt the conservation sector by connecting directly with younger generations through culturally relevant events that make a more effective global impact and a longer trending news cycle. Taking place in New York City alongside The UN General Assembly & Climate Week NYC, The Rainforest Summit will collaborate with international leaders from sustainable business, government, conservation, environmental science, indigenous communities and passionate advocates from civil society to showcase the unstoppable momentum of global climate action. Our summit has the opportunity to connect with an inspired and motivated group of environmental decision makers, where we can truly make a difference.

This event is part of the Food, Land and Nature-Based Solutions program of Climate Week NYC.
