Now in its 4th year, NYC AgTech Week has become a preeminent showcase for urban farming and agtech innovation. This week-long series of events hosted at venues around the city highlights the breadth of approaches to urban food system innovation found in New York – considered by many as the global capital of urban farming.
The conference is organized as a week-long event series, with 2-3 events taking place per day in unique locations around the city - including urban farms, tech incubators, and green event venues.
AgTech Week attracts a diverse audience of global attendees ranging from those curious about this emerging field - to leading entrepreneurs in the space - to architects, real estate developers, and investors - and everyone in between.
With over a dozen member and partner organizations, the NYC Agriculture Collective is one of the world’s largest consortiums of urban ag-focused organizations. Members include some of the world’s leading vertical farms; a world-renowned agricultural research university; an innovative non-profit transforming NYC public schools; and other recognized urban ag thought leaders.
The conference runs from September 21-September 26, 2019.
This event is part of the Food, Land and Nature-Based Solutions program of Climate Week NYC.
