During this interactive session we will showcase an innovative incubation training and pilot program for the public and private sectors to build new tools, capacities, and teams in developing countries to ultimately mobilize private investments for aggregated and standardized low carbon projects and products. The program currently implemented in Ghana by the Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) in partnership with the UNDP teaches us to re-think low carbon development through the lens of the consumer, business, and financial community’s needs, and to convert low carbon policy actions into products that can accelerate the flow of funds from blended sources.
CCS is a non-profit organization that works as a catalyst for public and private stakeholder collaboration around the world to achieve economic, energy, environmental, and equity-based goals. To develop and support these commitments, CCS builds and deploys capacities in all economic and resource sectors for effective planning, analysis, partnerships, and programs.
