Come join us to envision the environment we want and to think together about how we will make it possible. Parents know our children need clean and healthy air, water, food, and a place to live that is safe from floods, fires, and ever-more extreme weather. Our children deserve a future.
Sustaining All Life/United to End Racism is offering a playful and supportive setting where we can have fun together while looking at the topic of climate change.
Fun activities, including games, art, music, and reading circles are all part of the afternoon! We'll also be hosting a welcoming and empowering place for children to learn about climate change, groups for young people who want to put out their thinking, ask questions, or share feelings and worries with one another and support groups for parents so they are better prepared to talk and listen to their children. Come create artwork, banners, signs, chants, and songs together for a celebratory children’s climate justice march around the park.
This event is part of the Youth and Climate Activism program of Climate Week NYC.
